Facilities at Ridgeview

The stable area includes six horse stalls, three tack-up bays and three warm-water wash bays, along with a tack room, rug room and laundry.

These facilities support daily horse care, grooming, washing, lesson preparation and equipment storage. Ask staff to show you the first aid kit and defibrillator on arrival.

An outdoor grass arena and a 70 m × 30 m sand arena provide space for dressage, flatwork and show jumping. Dressage markers, arena letters and a full set of movable show jumps are available for schooling.

If heavy rain affects your lesson at Ridgeview, access to Wallaby Hill Farm’s indoor arena can be arranged, subject to availability. A separate arena charge may apply, but Ridgeview’s $25 facility fee is not payable for a lesson held at Wallaby Hill’s indoor arena. You won’t pay both facility fees. Confirm arrangements with Sandy before travelling.

Fixed and portable jumps offer schooling from a first cross-country experience through to 1* (105 cm). The course includes the water complex pictured here, with training options across the property.

Our 1.3 km, 2.5 m-wide all-weather track uses OTTO Sport perforated mats beneath an Arena Tex and sand surface, supporting drainage, cushioning and surface stability.

The track is available to horses agisting at Ridgeview and riders training with Sandy Lucas. External hire is currently arranged through Wallaby Hill. Please confirm access before visiting.

Horses are fed and checked twice daily, with fresh water, paddock shelters, rugging and unrugging, and owner-supplied supplements as arranged.

Horses are generally kept in individual paddocks, with shared arrangements considered where suitable. Paddock rotation gives the pasture time to rest.

Sandy Lucas leads lessons, clinics and training days at Ridgeview. Complete beginners are welcome for lessons, bringing their own horse or arranging to use one of Sandy’s horses. Horses for lessons are supplied directly by Sandy. Contact her for dates, availability and a suitable session.

Ridgeview also provides additional cross-country and dressage space for selected events at neighbouring Wallaby Hill. Those competitions are managed by Wallaby Hill.
